[PHOTOS & VIDEO] Yoo Ah In’s Personal Items Sold Out in Studio Concrete Charity Bazaar

As previously reported here, Yoo Ah In and Studio Concrete planned to hold a charity bazaar (flea market) “Donations For Children”, to celebrate the South Korean Children’s Day on May 5. He also made a plea to give the special contributions by donating five times the profits generated through this charity bazaar separately.

The charity was conducted with 5.5.5.5 scheme which means it was held on Children’s Day on 5/5 at 5 afternoon, and Yoo Ah In would personally donate 5 times the amount of profits generated from this bazaar separately to fill the target group amounts to 1 billion KRW. 50% of the collected funds will be donated to the Korea Children’s Leukemia Foundation, and the remaining 50% are expected to be used for children, youth and arts education support project which will be launched by Studio Concrete.

Yoo Ah In sold his private collection of over 200 fashion items that he has used or wore during his career from famous fashion designer labels, such as Burberry Prorsum, Alexander McQueen, Givency, Yves Saint Laurent, Balmain, Prada, Gucci, Dior, Golden Goose, Rick Owens, Acne, Lanvin, Valentino, and many more.

This charity bazaar got a huge responds from the people and made a news headline. KBS2 Morning News reported, hundreds of people making a long beeline on the street in front of Studio Concrete’s building at 5 PM to visit the flea market.

KBS/MBC/SBS: Yoo Ah In Charity Bazaar For Children

Yoo Ah In sported a loosely blue striped long sleeves, with a nice pair of shades, like he was just playing around at his own home. Uniquely, there was an emblem pasted on his shirt written “Empathy State of Mind. The Dungeons.” This might refer to an event with the same theme in London some years ago.

He indeed wandered around and greeted everyone with friendly smile and gesture, talked with them and explained the items he sold in the flea market to them, and let them took pictures together. He even gave signatures on the stuff that they bought! The bazaar provided soft drinks as well that everyone felt the warm hospitality.

Ah In also introduced to everyone his 6 moths old Shiba Inu puppy, Takku, which he’s been raising together with Studio Concrete crews since early this year. They both looked so adorable! 😀 And he looked super happy receiving his first bill from the first buyer!

After wrapping up the bazaar in late afternoon, a staff from Studio Concrete said in her instagram account, that all items were sold out! It means the charity event reached the goal and Ah In will personally donate 5 times the amount of profits generated from this bazaar separately to fill the target group amounts to 1 billion KRW! Wow awesomesauce!

Yoo Ah In and his crews celebrated the achievement by dining out in a humble Korean restaurant that day 🙂
