[PHOTOS & VIDEO] Yoo Ah In is The First Male Actor to Grace Three VOGUE Korea Front Covers, Dazzling Hot in LEON China
Having two films at the Top Box Office at the same time is sure an impressive feat. While Veteran is still shuffling its way to a staggering 13.3 million viewers and has become the all-time third most-watched film in Korean cinema history, The Throne is sitting comfortably at the number one Box Office for 16 days now and just exceeded 5 million, as of October 1st.
Yoo Ah In is the first Korean actor who drew in more than 18 million people to the cinemas in two months, through two different movies which released simultaneously, Veteran (opens August 5, 2015) and The Throne (opens September 16, 2015). Dubbed as “Yoo Ah In Generation” (유아인시대; Yoo Ah In Shi Dae) or “Yoo Ah In Golden Age”, he is sure the hot item right now, and media wants every peace of him, including Leon China and Vogue Korea.
First of all, Yoo Ah In appears in LEON, a Chinese men’s fashion magazine for a September issue. He shows what hot Sik can do to warm up the autumn while pampering himself in a luxurious hotel room somewhere in Shanghai.

While being an actor’s actor is in his nature, Yoo Ah In gets an exclusive star treatment for his ’10 million actor’ plus 2 box office movies accomplishment by gracing the cover of VOGUE Korea for October issue, not just one or two but in THREE versions!
That means, 3 published October’s Vogue with 3 different covers of Yoo Ah In. Superb!
Yoo Ah In is the first male actor that graces the front covers of Vogue. Though Lee Byung Hyun, Hyun Bin, and Bigbang’s G-Dragon have posed for the front cover in the past, they had partners with them as well.
Yoo Ah In is the first to break the stereotype of a female model front cover for a fashion magazine. It is also unprecedented that there are three different versions of the cover. Vogue surely knows what the trend is.
Three cover versions of Vogue Korea, October issue
The theme for this October issue is “Ah In’s It Time” and “The Autumn Movie Styles”. Very fitting. October is our Master Sik’s month anyway!
Yoo Ah In shows off mixed styles on the covers of Vogue and pictorial. He shows off his French chic look, tiger tattoo, and homme fatale style, he showcases several different and quirky designs from hippie Indian to preppy and all-black chic.
Let’s scroll down and drool on the pixies~!
Besides the pictorial, Yoo Ah In has a long interview with Vogue as well. The interview will be released in two parts in this October. We will translate Vogue’s interview soon, so stay around!😀
