Yoo Ah In Brings French Illustrator Jean Jullien to Seoul For His First Solo Exhibition

Studio Concrete creative team steps up the game prior to Yoo Ah In’s military service enlistment date, which deadline is drawing near. (PS: sorry folks, so far we don’t know the exact date yet, and he plans to enlist quietly)

After Yoo Ah In and Studio Concrete held several exhibitions showcasing the budding local artists, the team finally brought famous French graphic designer Jean Jullien to Seoul for his first ever solo exhibition. The exhibition opening reception was held the day after Yoo Ah In’s birthday, October 7.

Jean Jullien is the artist behind the “Peace for Paris” symbol, which went viral after he posted it in his instagram right after the Paris terrorist attack on November 13, 2015. His heartfelt symbol of peace became a worldwide sign of support for France.

Now, many people, including his fans, were shocked by Yoo Ah In’s new haircut. He shaved his head buzzed down to the skin modelling a classic army cut, and it raised the speculation that he’s gonna enter the army soon this month.

Well, despite the fact that I’m (we’re all) sooo gonna miss him much for the next two effin years, the sooner he gets it done and over with, the sooner he comes back to the showbiz scene in more unstoppable fantastic works!😀

Check out some of his photos from the opening reception night~

Happy Yoo Ah In and friends had dinner after Jean Jullien exhibition opening night~^^

After his first solo exhibition opening reception, on the next day Jean Jullien had a live art performance in Beaker Store, Chungdam-dong, Seoul, October 8. Yoo Ah In and his management team attended the performance as well. He posted the live art performance in his instagram~

Here are some photos of Yoo Ah In rubbing shoulders with Jean Jullien at Beaker Store. He was wearing a special shirt with a cute illustration drawn by Jullien himself🙂

Our lovely translator said that Yoo Ah In was easing us into this enlistment shittery. Going publicly with the shaven head makes the enlistment announcement less hard 😂 Gotta say Yoo Ah In looks hotter and manlier even after he shaved his head! Now we can imagine him in the uniform building his abs and come back with six packs. I approve😀
